The Saloon Cabin is located southwest of Terry Peak just minutes from the slopes and direct access to ATV and snowmobile trails.

This is a 3-level cabin with 3 bedrooms (3 queen-sized beds, one set of bunks), a loft with 2 queen-size beds, and 2 full bathrooms. The main level of the cabin is an open, welcoming, living-dining and kitchen area with a walk-out to the deck, private hot tub, and BBQ Grill. The living room has a gas fireplace and plenty of seating. The lower level features a family living room with large, flat-screen TV and DVD player. The cabin has a walk-out patio and walking distance of the Clubhouse. The cabin has plenty of parking, and fully paved roads and is located just 7 miles from Deadwood and 20 miles from Sturgis.

The Gilded Mountain Subdivision also offers the use of a central Clubhouse. The Clubhouse is beautiful with log accents, cabin and mining decor, and the perfect place to enjoy your vacation. It offers a game room, outdoor swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, and party room for family gatherings, conferences, and more. The Clubhouse is available for anyone who stays in the cabins. The party room is available for rent for family gatherings. A 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive is recommended for winter driving conditions.

The Saloon Cabin is located on the northern edge of the Black Hills National Forest, the city of Deadwood is defined by both its scenic surroundings and Wild West history. This combination makes for an exciting place to visit and stay awhile. Visitors can walk on the steps of Wild Bill Hickok and Calamity Jane on Historic Main Street in downtown Deadwood and even stumble upon the spot where the legendary folk hero was laid to rest. The city retains much of its Old West charm, including historic storefronts and a rustic style on the streets. The live reenactments on Historic Main Street during the summer add to this Wild West theme. Outdoor things to do are abundant in Deadwood. The Whistler Gulch Campground on the edge of town is consistently busy during the summer, and the northern terminus of the 109-mile George S. Mickelson Trail is near the old railroad depot in Deadwood.
