Charming Beach Cottage 1 Block from the Beach!

You'll want to take a closer look at this charming and cheery corner lot vacation beach cottage with 2 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms. The cottage is located in South End, Ship Bottom, New Jersey on Long Beach Island (LBI) and borders the Atlantic Ocean. The summer population can be as much as 20,000. The borough's name derives from an incident in March 1817, in which a woman was saved from a wrecked ship that had flipped over after her rescuers used axes to cut through the bottom of the hull. The second bedroom is a loft area with three pyramid bunks. The charming cottage sleeps 10 with pullout sofas. The maximum occupancy at any time in the cottage is 10 people.

The cottage has an outdoor shower. There is an updated kitchen and a large living area with a large flat-screen TV. The cottage has 3 TVs in total. Beach badges are included with the vacation rental. There is a large shared outdoor space with 2 condo units also on the vacation property. Each condo unit has separate eating areas. There is an easy walk to the beach (12 houses). There is a traffic light crossing over the boulevard. Many attractions are close by within walking distance including Joe Pop s, Joey s Pizza, LBI Pancake House, Bageleddis, Sugar Kingdom, and the Haymarket Toy Shop all within a block. There are no pets allowed. The cottages have shared parking with 2 spots per unit.

LBI is three parts of one whole. As you cruise down Long Beach Boulevard, you will notice that there are 3 different parts of Long Beach Island, each with its unique perks. Together, the South End, North End, and Central Region make up LBI, the best little island on the Jersey Shore. The South End is composed of Holgate, Beach Haven, Spray Beach, and all the neighborhoods in between. This part of LBI is home to some great surfing beaches, a ton of kid-friendly attractions, museums, many great rental homes, and a bustling nightlife. You'll want to take a peek at the southernmost point in Holgate, walk around Beach Haven, or grab a bite to eat on your way

The Central Region. This part of LBI is great for shopping and day-tripping. Stretching from Surf City to Brant Beach, this piece of LBI features many shops, spas, galleries, boutiques, mini golf courses, quick bites, and easy-access beaches. Ship Bottom offers a ton of free concerts during the summer (which are located right off the bridge), Ocean Blvd in Brant Beach is a great spot to ride your bike in the morning, and Surf City has a Farmer’s Market during the Summer.

And last, but certainly not least, the North End. Encapsulating Barnegat Light, all the way through North Beach, the North End of LBI is just as special. This section offers Barnegat Lighthouse State Park, charter fishing, museums and gardens, private beaches, and some great dining spots. During your vacation stay you might catch a craft show in Harvey Cedars or Viking Village, climb the beloved Old Barney, or view an exhibit in Loveladies.
